Friend Notes are now live on US server for testing and they will be applied soon on other servers as well. Finally you can write some notes for the friends you always forget who they are.

Viktor Bug

Apparently there is a Viktor Bug, therefore Riot has disabled the character until next patch.

Vi, The Piltover enforcer. Round 1, FIGHT!

Vi, The Piltover Enforcer is out in the test server. He looks really bad ass and fun to play, reminded me of StreetFighter Heroes.You can see a preview below. For more info regarding the loreand more skins images  you can visit Surrender@20.

League of Legends: Turret Rush (live action)

Found this really fun video worth sharing. Rizen Visual team, which had created similar videos on other games, have launched a live action video regarding League of Legends. I really enjoyed that video and the rest of the videos of that guys.

IPL5: Fnatic.Raidcall and CLG.Prime !

Day 3 in IPL 5 Las Vegas and the games so far have been exiting! A lot of great games so far with a lot of suprises. Fnatic.Raidcall and CLG.Prime both teams with great history in the LoL competitive scene that have fallen behind in the last events are doing a great come back.

Fnatic.Raidcall

Fnatic.Raidcall entered IPL5 really strong getting unexpected wins over Azubu (who have changed their line-up since Season 2 Finals) and over Season 2 Champions TPA. Both games were amazing and I believe it's worth the time watching them ( Fnatic vs TPA Game 1 & Game 2). Looks like Martin "Rekkles" Larsson have brought something new to the team. 

CLG.Prime

CLG.Prime after the line-up changes, with HotshotGG going back to Top Lane, Chauster going in the Jungle and Locodoco recruitment as Support looks like they are back on track. So far they have done great games. Locodoko looks like he has an active part in CLG game play not only with his skills but also with his tactical knowledge. CLG in their last games have shown a higher level of commitment and focus on their tactics which they seem to work as planned.

Now both teams are facing each other with CLG picking the first game. On the second game CLG had the early lead but Fnatic made a great come back after picking twice Chauster alone. Both games were amazing. Lets see what game three will bring! You can watch them live here.

UPDATE

In game three, CLG were not able to make any plays happen in the early game giving the advantage to Fnatic assasin team (Katarina, Regnar, Lee Sin). Fnatic took advantage of any CLG mistake, who looked that game two had influenced them, and with an amazing ultimate co-ordination aced CLG and pretty much ended the game by taking advantage of 10k gold and score 9-1 in their favor.

IPL5 and January Sales Poll Results.

IPL 5 

IPL 5, the last major event of 20120, have started today with the participation of major teams such as the Finalist of Season 2 (TPA and M5), superstar Asian teams (Azubu, World Elite), major European teams (CLG.EU, Curse.EU), all time classics  (TSM, CLG.NA) and a lot of full hope and promises newcomers (Blackbeans ,Iceland). Do not forget we had quite a few Asian surprises the last period. A lot of fans would expect the popular SK Gaming team to take part to the event but they have not be able to go through the Qualifiers. On the other hand, the also disqualified FnaticRaidcall inherited Alternate's Qualifier spot. You can find more details about each team here.

The first games of the day have taken already place with a great game between Crs.NA and M5 with the later turning it in their favor in the last 5 minutes. The rest of the games so far went as expected with dominating victories of major teams over their weaker opponents.

January Sales Poll

Results from the poll "What would you like to see included in the January sales event"  are up as well with Riots actions about them.

As Hippalus posted  The results of the poll are in and the result is a virtual dead heat between option #4 and #6, each with approximately 15.5K votes across the 4 regions that participated (NA, EUW, EUNE and BR). The combined vote tally is:

• 1,522 - 50% off boosts

• 5,076 - 50% off rune pages

• 5,249 - RP purchases get extra bonus RP (similar to September)

• 15,476 - 50% off skin super sale (10+ skins, including some never before on sale)

• 11,679 - 75% off skin retirement (retiring several older skins to the legacy vault)

• 15,487 - 50% off legacy skins (bringing back some retired skins not currently in the store)

The moves Riot is planning to do on January are the following: 

• On January 11, the regular Friday sale will be replaced by a Skin Super Sale which will include some skins never before on sale (not Legendaries or other ineligible skins). As usual, three champions will also be on sale.

•  At some point between now and the end of January, the 42 Legacy skins below will come back into the store for a limited time at 50% off their regular price (42 Skins in total):
